Pave Sealant

APC Paveseel® is the proven jointing sand stabiliser. An elastomeric pre-polymer for the in-situ binding of jointing sand between external blockpavers.

Binds and stabilises the joining sand
Trafficking, heavy rain, vacuum sweeping, arcraft jet blasts, weed growth and burrowing insects can seriously erode paver jointing sand, causing block instability and eventual failure. APC Paveseel® penetrates deeply into the jointing sand to permanently bind the loose sand granules together creating a pliable elastromeric and virtually impermeable structure between the blocks, which will virtually eliminate further erosion.

Preserves Flexibility
APC Paveseel®'s elastomeric nature preserves the essential flexibility of the orignal joints and future easy removal of the blocks for access to the substrate.

Protects
APC Paveseel® seal sand joints, inhibiting the ingress of water and fuels. It discourages the growth of weeds, particularly between recently laid block pavers.

Seals the Pavers
Whilst APC Paveseel® is principally designed as a jointing sand binder and stabiliser, it will also have a sealing effect on the block paver surface.

Easy to apply
APC Paveseel® is easily applied by foam squeezee direct from the container.

Quick drying
Treated areas can be re-opened for traffic in 12 to 24 hours.

Uses

  • ports and terminals
  • petrol station forecourts
  • aircraft hard standings and taxiways
  • foothpaths and pedestrian precincts
  • car parks and ramps
  • roads and driveways

Packing
APC Paveseel® is available in 25 litre contaiers or 200 litre drums.

Appearance
APC Paveseel® is a clear, low viscosity liquid pre-polymer. Application will result in slightly darkening of paver blocks, which will enrich the original colour.

Coverage
Typical coverage is between 2 m2 to 2.5 m2 per litre depending on the porosity of the pavers. We recommend that approximately 2 litres of APC Paveseel® is decanted at a time before being worked into the paver joints.
